Really comfortable and friendly traditional Spanish hotel. Old and full of antique furniture etc. Full of character and food excellent.

The staff was very friendly and acommodating. We arrived quite late and the restaurant supposed to be closing...they kept it open for us, gave us a lovely dinner outside, and they were very chatty and friendly. The room was very comfortable, very good choices for breakfast, and the price very reasonable.. The location was superb to visit Santillana and the seaside is 15 mins away. Over all was a very pleasant stay.

Enjoyed the breakfast with a variety of options including omelets, pastries, and cakes. Great central location in a historic area close to the garden and communal areas. - Conveniently located within walking distance to the Museum of Torture.

This hotel was just perfect, a charming old building full of antiques, very clean and exceptional value, thankyou.

Despite selecting the non-smoking option, we got a smoking room. We asked at the reception to get a non-smoking room and they told us that all the rooms in the hotel are smoking rooms! That was a very bad surprise especially because it was not mentioned anywhere on the website.

This place is very cheap for the area - it was right next to the entrance of the historic village which was very handy. The hotel lobby is exciting - beauifully mantained and smells like log fire breakfast was good!

The room was incredibily dated and not maintained like the lobby. The carpet was old and worn with red wine spills everywhere - hopefully not blood! The room we were given included 2 small double beds pushed together rather than a proper double like we requested - the railings squeeked liked crazy. Internet in room was poor - we had to sit by the front door to use it lastly this room was spooky! Creepy paintings on the wall - gave me the heebie geebies! Regreted not paying the extra 20 euros to stay in 5 star hotel down the road

We booked a double room with a balcony and enjoyed the wake-up service provided. the location of the hotel is charming, situated in a lovely area close to numerous restaurants and local bars.

Lovely atmospheric old building, very spacious and comfortable room, spotlessly clean. In excellent location in Santillana del Mar. Very good buffet breakfast. Reception very helpful.

Very good location and beautiful antique furniture that suits the old town where it is located in.

The sanitary sounds of adjacent rooms were a bit disturbing. We wanted to eat in the restaurant the evening of our stay but the TV was on and very loud. We found a stylish restaurant in the old town and had a fantastic dinner there.
